Different Kindle DX owners have different needs. I wanted a protective casing that wasn't attached to it, since I like reading it unprotected and didn't want to go through the hassle of taking the cover off every time. At the same time I wanted something easy to get it in and out of. Last but not least, though I love my Kindle dearly, I was looking for a case that wouldn't break the bank.:)This sleeve is perfect - protective, light, cool looking and easy to use. I love the extra pocket for the charger and light. I've been thinking of customizing it and adding a harder layer on the inside to make sure the screen is even better protected, but this is overall exactly what I wanted.

I've happily used it for 3 months and at this point I need to add that the seams are falling apart...:( I guess it wasn't meant to be a long lasting relationship...
