To save some money I ordered the Nomadic Wise Walker instead of the OCTO messenger bag to carry and protect my Kindle. Although the Nomadic bag is reasonably well made, I believe it was poorly thought out and designed. The pouch compartment for the Kindle holds it firmly with a drawstring but leaves the top open to the elements. This open top design also carries over to the flap compartment housing a cell phone. No protection at all is provided from the top for either device in even a light shower. I will give this bag to my 6 year old grandson to keep his "little treasures" as soon as the OCTO messenger bag that I ordered arrives this week.
