This cover looks very nice, but most importantly, it provides the protection I wanted for my KindleDx. I have a very active family, who toss their books, sports equipment etc. on the table, sofa, etc. without checking to see what they might be squishing!I carry the Kindle everywhere, to games, appointments, air travel etc. and I am less afraid that someone will place something on top of my Kindle or that I will drop it and damage it.The Kindle fits securely and the tab that keeps it closed can easily be tucked between the Kindle and back cover to keep it out of the way while reading.The cover also enables me to prop the Kindle up and continue reading while eating lunch. It does make your Kindle a little more bulky & heavier, but I bought it for protection, so I am fine with that, and I can easily slide it out if I wish.
