Pros:Nice protective case for your Kindle 2.The exterior material is nice, nothing too flashy for the professional, yet something different from a plain black exterior.The memory foam works well to protect your Kindle 2 investment.I LOVE the exterior pocket.That's one of the things that drew me to purchase this case vs. the others, as the only pocket in those was a mesh interior pocket.I couldn't see putting the USB cable and wall adapater against the screen of a $400 device.Thankfully the CaseCrown pouch protects the case, while providing a place for your charger separately.I'm a gadget fanatic, so I tend to have more than one thing to throw in there.Whether it's my mp3 player, my mobile phone, or my BlackBerry, I can usually fit a good majority of it.I'd expect the case to be much wider than it is, but depending on what I cram in the front pocket, I'm often able to fit the entire case in my purse.Pretty handy!Cons:There is alot of extra room in the Kindle compartment.The case doesn't fit the kindle as snug as I'd like, and doesn't appear to be custom for this particular device.Eventually, I'll probably upgrade to something that fits the device better.There are 4 corner straps that hold the kindle in place.The two upper straps are plastic, and the two lower are elastic for easy removal of the device.I think because the bottom straps are elastic, it allows for slippage, and the device tends to sink to the bottom while holding it vertical to read.Obviously, this makes for more unused dead space between the case and the device itself.A custom Kindle 2 case will definitely fit better.Also, I can do without the screen protector.I applied it and was left with a great deal of bubbles.It's also very shiny, so tends to make light reflection pretty unbearable from the sun or a booklight.Within a few hours, I'd pulled the screen protector off and tossed it in the trash.
