I absolutely love my Kindle Skin from DecalGirl.When ordering, I wasn't sure how thick this skin would be, if it was more like a sticker (which wouldn't really protect my Kindle), or a thicker, true skin like a Gizmobie.It actually turned out to be a nice medium between the two.It's thick enough to protect from most scratches, and it's slightly stretchy--very easy to apply, but thin enough not to get in the way of the buttons or be too thick to hold comfortably.It really spices up my Kindle and makes it feel personalized, while at the same time preventing finger stains, and carry-wear.I had no problems with the skin bubbling in application, and it conforms easily to the curves and edges by stretching slightly when smoothed down carefully.I was also worried that the design would distract my eye and make it harder to read, but I was able to get used to it within minutes and pick back up to my normal reading speed.The only downside is that now the sides of the Kindle are not as smooth, I can feel the edges of the skin after holding it for a little while.But, to me, it's still comfortable enough to highly recommend.
